Playing in the water
Outside is where they usually lie
Or many can be indoors
Life guards can be named the heroes

I'm running
But I don't know what from
My legs suddenly feel like molasses
And i can't move as quick
What is happening to me?
I look behind me
To make sure I am not being chased
I begin to crawl away
Get back on my feet
Running as fast as I can
A quick jerk awakes me from my slumber
Another hypnic jerk
I'm running
But I don't know what from
My legs suddenly feel like molasses
And i can't move as quick
What is happening to me?
I look behind me
To make sure I am not being chased
I begin to crawl away
Get back on my feet
Running as fast as I can
A quick jerk awakes me from my slumber
Another hypnic jerk
Elegy
I miss you
The days were longer
And the sun shined brighter
Not only mine
But my caregiver's as well
I hope you know we care
And you're still in our hearts
Till I see you again
Grandma dear,
I miss your sweet smile
I miss you
The days were longer
And the sun shined brighter
Not only mine
But my caregiver's as well
I hope you know we care
And you're still in our hearts
Till I see you again
Grandma dear,
I miss your sweet smile
Sonnet
I like to look at the clouds
They shapes they make
Can sometimes be so loud
I like to sometimes take
A blanket and just lay
Along the green green grass
Or just sit upon the bay
I take my empty glass,
Once filled with pink lemonade,
Placing it to my right
But I see him smiling like a child in an arcade
I hold him nice and tight
But he's no longer there
Where has he gone? Where?
I like to look at the clouds
They shapes they make
Can sometimes be so loud
I like to sometimes take
A blanket and just lay
Along the green green grass
Or just sit upon the bay
I take my empty glass,
Once filled with pink lemonade,
Placing it to my right
But I see him smiling like a child in an arcade
I hold him nice and tight
But he's no longer there
Where has he gone? Where?
Dramatic Monologue
Sometimes I just don't understand?
How can an individual be so harsh?
I wouldn't even bother to lay a hand
Sometimes maybe I wish things could be different.
You could have been different.
Maybe if I weren't such a brat
Or if I didn't beg for that doll
Maybe you wouldn't have gotten so fed up
And left with no type of apology
It didn't even seem to bother you
How much do you have to go through
To leave your breed in this harsh and lonely world
Maybe if I was older I would understand
But I was only three
I don't understand
I can only question why
Why oh why this is killing me so much.
Father dear.

Maybe you should just leave now,
Don't let yourself get hurt again
He didn't even take a bow
How much pain will your heart allow?
Till you see yourself start to refrain
Maybe you should just leave now
As the sweat drips down his brow
You begin to hear the siren
Maybe you should just run now
What has he done now?
He made you an accomplice again
Maybe it's time to leave now
It's time to say ciao
As the red white and green can
Maybe it's too late to leave now
You have been caught.,.. How?
You don't have the slightest clue my friend
Maybe you should stay now
There's now way, oh wow.
Maybe you should just leave now,
Don't let yourself get hurt again
He didn't even take a bow
How much pain will your heart allow?
Till you see yourself start to refrain

Ode
Ode to those we lost at war
They are the true super heroes
Not those of a comic book bore
Those should be zeros
Ode to those we lost at war
Bet they were scared out of their minds
No fear can relate or score
Not even those with blind eyes
Ode to those we lost at war
The souls they left behind
Now morn and our
Their hearts of steel must wind
Ode to those we lost at war
For those are the real hero's
Ode to those we lost at war
They are the true super heroes
Not those of a comic book bore
Those should be zeros
Ode to those we lost at war
Bet they were scared out of their minds
No fear can relate or score
Not even those with blind eyes
Ode to those we lost at war

Ghazal
You take me to the moon
And then to a lagoon
I can't help but smile around you
You sort of make me swoon
The hours seem long without you
But the days seem to be up till noon
Isn't that wast its supposed to be Lucy?
Maybe not in June.
You take me to the moon
And then to a lagoon
I can't help but smile around you
You sort of make me swoon
The hours seem long without you
But the days seem to be up till noon
Isn't that wast its supposed to be Lucy?

Sun stays out longer
Utmost happiness it brings
Many kids outside playing
Many days those camp bells ring
Everyone just laughs and plays
Round and round the hops they sway
Sun stays out longer
Utmost happiness it brings
Many kids outside playing
Many days those camp bells ring
Everyone just laughs and plays
Round and round the hops they sway
PEANUT BUTTER BATTER
The Peanuts lived along a great white flowery meadow
Alone they would walk through the grass looking at the tall human
"What do they want?" asked little Peanut.
"They want nothing but our insides, our shells don't matter and they don't even realize this is our home." Grouchy peanut made a fist and shouted to the tall humans as they heard a word he was saying. "HOW WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR INSIDES GETTING GRINDED UP FOR YOUR SATISFACTION? HUH?" The angry little peanut wove his fist around with anger written in his face.
"Calm down sweetheart, they cannot hear you. Besides, your insides will not be ground up because you have papa Peanut to take care of you. Isn't that right honey?" Mamma peanut said with such a lovely and caring tone to her voice.
"Wh-what? Yeah, yeah." said papa Peanut distracted by something afar. "I think they're coming. HIDE!"
The little peanuts hid for their lives, but they didn't hide well enough and the humans found them and made them into scrumptious peanut-butter.
